International Kendo Seminar for Juniors

Finnish Kendo Association (FKA) warmly welcomes all the junior kendokas and their teachers to a kendo seminar in Kotka, Finland on September 2023. The purpose of this seminar is to unite junior kendokas and their teachers from all around the Northern Europe through a joint training and competition and thus create a foundation of collaboration for the coming years.

There shall be first kihon together on Friday evening and on Saturday morning. Then on Saturday afternoon a skill competition for the younger kendokas while more experienced kendokas train judging on guidance of the instructors. And finally on Sunday there shall be a shiai for juniors with bogu while juniors without bogu act as officials together with the adults.
